Here is a really neat Lionel HO power pack in the original display style box. As you can see, it does show playwear and some oxidation on the thumbnuts on the posts. Pictures show it all.
#0100 DC VERSION for HO / N /G. Puts out 90 watts like the classic 1033 BUT THIS ONE IS FOR DIRECT CURRENT ONLY. Lionel originally put it out for its HO line, but it can be used to run the limited line of DC trains that Lionel put out in the 1980s. (Most Lionel runs on AC current).
One handle for reverse or forward, and the other for speed control.
It was first produced in 1957 and is designed to provide both A.C. and D.C. power for IIO train operation. The 0100 Power Pack has two outputs, one providing fixed 16 volts A.C and the main variable one 0-18 volts DC POWER for your HO. It usually tops out around 14-16 in real voltage.
How cool to have the original box. It does show its age, but, hey, it is still here!
CONDITION: C-7. We have gone through, serviced, and tested. It is working as it should! Nice SAFE cord. With original box though the box shows wear, torn flaps on the top, and softness.
