You are looking at a super LIONEL CORPORATION TINPLATE release from the brief merger of Lionel and MTH on the tinplate projects. This is the black base version of the prewar Lionel switches. These will match up with the MTH Tinplate Traditions.

It is a remake of the old classic Lionel Standard Gauge #223 remote control switch. Use it with any standard gauge, and it will be right at home. You can run it with the original or add it to the modern tinplate track you have.

CONDITION: C-8+++. Has been on a layout, but looks like it has only seen a few runs. Tops of tracks do show a very light use, but almost new still. Shiny patina. Would look brand new except for a small streak on frog. BOX shows minimal shelfwear--looks great.
