A Complete BOXED Running O Gauge Passenger Set in Peacock Blue and Orange
This is Lionel prewar set #296, a set comprised of the #253 electric outline locomotive and three passenger cars.
This set came in a few variations. This one is the Peacock Blue and orange trim version from 1928 and 1929.

There is no track or transformer with this set. It did originally come with track. If you require track and a power unit to go with this set and rheostat, we can set you up with them in a separate listing.
CONDITION: Overall, very good plus condition. There are rubs, paint chips, and a little oxidation in places. Roof of engine shows some spots.
Outer set box has wear but the labels are largely complete. Has some water stains, wear, and tears on corners. Visible stamping.
Individual boxes are here, all looking good with clear stamping. Some wear. One coach box missing an end flap. All pictured.
