You are looking at a scarce uncatalogued train set from 1982. This is one of the harder items to find from the MPC era, and this one is complete with everything you need and even tested, working!
Lionel produced this NIBCO Express promotional train set for NIBCO Plumbing, a "Quality Piping Company," in 1982. It was unique among the promotional sets in that this one has a DIESEL engine instead of a starter steam engine.
