This is a re-issue of the Lionel 2245 Texas Special F3 B unit diesel engine from 1954, catalogued then as 2245C. This release was a later add on to the Lionel Postwar Celebration Series F3s from 1999-2000. It was issued as a separate sale item--separate from the AB set and the passenger cars. Not as many were produced as of the AB set. This unit, along with its matching passenger cars have become one of the most sought after trains from the modern era.

FEATURES

CONDITION: C-8 LIKE NEW. Tested and sounds work. Cosmetically looks like new. Does have a few very small paint rubs perhaps factory or packaging.
