There is a WHOLE LOTTA COOL here, but one of my favorite features is the horn that plays the Star Spangled Banner! Leading the Lionel Freedom Train is an all-new scale-sized ALCo PA diesel that, just like the real thing, plays the first few bars of The Star Spangled Banner with its horn.

CONDITION: C-8, maybe C-7+. Engine tested--all functions work in TMCC and Conventional. If you look super close, there are a few rubs on the engine and a few dark spots on the roof, hard to see. Passenger cars look like new. The BOX has some rubs and creases, but looks nice, C-7. With instructions.

Some fun History
The post-WWII brainchild of Attorney General Tom C. Clark, the Freedom Train carried the most important artifacts of American history to towns and cities across the country in an effort to re-dedicate citizens to the blessings of the American system. From 1947 to 1949, the rolling history lesson received 3,521,841 visitors who saw original documents such as the Declaration of Independence.
