You are looking at a rare addition to your Lionel collection. This is the collectible Ward Kimball Grizzly Flats box car, a Special Run put out by the Toy Train Operating Society as a special Cal Stewart Meet car, a very limited special offering to members in conjunction with the famous meet. It was never a catalogued item. You do not see it for sale very often; it was sold in limited quantity.
THIS one features something you do not see all that often in toy trains--UNIQUE ARTWORK ON EACH SIDE. Usually, the cars feature the same artwork on each side. This one has the outline of Kimball's famous Grizzly Flats depot on one side, and his signature on the other. Even the box has unique artwork on it, specific to this car.
Ward Kimball is the legendary Disney animator who was also a lover of trains. He supported toy train collecting. He was also the voice of Jiminey Cricket and had an iconic look.
This car would look great with your modern or postwar trains as it has the classic boxcar design of the old days, but really great modern detailed graphics.
