Here is a really cool John Deere train set with the Lionchief remote control.
Lionchief trains are controlled by the included remote control and run off of a constant 18 volts supplied to the track by the wall pack transformer included with the set. The engine in your Lion Chief set cannot be controlled by a traditional conventional transformer.
