The hardest car in the series to find.
You are looking at a very cool 6-9672 hi-cube boxcar made in 1978 specifically for the Disney Mickey Mouse Express freight car series. It is in its original box. These boxes were custom decorated ONLY for this series. As Lionel did back then, these cars were sold one at a time as separate sale rather than in a complete set, so different cars have different collector values. There were thirteen cars including a caboose and an extra limied edition Mickey Mouse birthday car (see our other listings).
THIS car is the most scarce car of the entire Mickey Mouse Express. This is the 50th Anniversary Car decorated for "Happy Birthday Mickey" to celebrate 50 years of Mickey. Check out the gold doors, roof and ends.
This car is a great stand alone Disney Mickey car or of course, the ultimate addition to your Mickey Mouse Express.

CONDITION: C-8, perhaps C-7+. Looks real nic, very close to like new. If you look real close, you may see a very light rub or two. BOX has some discoloration, wear and rubs.
