Here is a nice Lionel postwar original 1026 transformer. This one is clean.
The 25 watts is enough for a lightweight engine such as the Scout or a lighter Alco unit and light cars with a modest circle. This transformer did come with some of these lightweight sets.
Maybe you need to complete that boxed set!
Pro Tip: Some like to use this transformer to have a separate control for accessories or lights.
CONDITION: Clean and working. Good new replacement cord. Some rubs and scuffs here and there. Base shows oxidation and wear.
