You are looking at a good looking 1666 steam locomotive. This is the BLACK version. We tested it, and it is running well. There is no tender included, so you can use whichever tender you want to this engine--prewar or postwar.
This is one of the iconic prewar steam engines, a nice diecast engine.
This model was produced prewar and postwar, but the features of this one date it to 1940-41. This one is the prewar version--note:
- The long drawbar
- The flat rear deck of the cab
- Moveable bell on top
- Metal trailing trucks
- Metal plates for number under cab
Made 1940-41 only
- Die Cast locomotive
- NO tender included in this listing
CONDTION: C-6. Tested and runs, reverses. Clean but has some oxidation on the siderods and some rubs and paint chips in the black. One marker light is missing the jewel. I can replace for you upon request. Good metal plates under cab. Tested and runs, lights, reverses. Looks nice. Body shows evidence of handling and playwear.
