Here is a very nice item from the early days of trains. This is the Lionel 53 street lamp post. This is the Ivory version. It has the original style boulevard layered/tapered style bulb, the 63-11 opal bulb. that is hard to come by today even reproduction. Most people sub a more common plain style of bulb, but this bulb is the proper bulb for this lamp.
Perfectly sized to go with Standard gauge OR O guage.
It is 8 1/2" tall. Offered by Lionel 1931-1942 in a few colors.

CONDITION: C-7. Works. Paint is actually quite clean for this lamp post.. Some light paint rubs as pictured. The bulb is the original style bulb for this lamp. It is the unique boulevard style that tapers up in layers. This is a GE bulb and may be original to the piece--I do not know for sure. Pictures show it all.
