You are looking at the old Original Lionel #55 Pennsylvania Railroad Tie-Jector motorized unit.
This is the motorized unit that will eject the ties for the track workers. Included here are the track clips that go on the side of the track with this car in order to operate as well as ties and a ciopy of the instructions.
A nice thing about this unit is that it carries the markings of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Perfect for your Maintenance of Way train.

CONDITION: C-6+. Serviced and works. A little noisy as they all are. Some scratches and other playwear from use. A little bit of handling wear visible in the lettering. The track trips (actuators) have some oxidation on them. With the ties you see (may not be full catalog count). Pretty sure the ties are exact repro.
