You are looking at a neat Lionel item--this is the 1981 issue woodside hopper--National Despatch Reefer. This one is a model of the Turn of the Century advertising reefers and bears the writing: "Universal/Carloading and Distributing Company". And they always look good in multiples!
This car came with a neat paint scheme--silver with a deep red roof AND the silver features a weathered look direct from the factory.
