You are looking at a nice Lionel TW transformer. THIS one has been serviced and is ready to play with NOW.
And how about that awesome style of the big handles? This one was produced 1954-60. Besides having 175 watts through one channel, there is a lot to like about this model. Did you know that inside, the TW has a separate power source for the constant voltage accessory circuits. This source is independent of the main coil you use to control the variable voltage. This makes running accessories, blocks, and switches easier.
It has
- variable track control
- control for whistle
- control for direction
- 175 watts
- a clean exterior
- a replacement cord
- 1954-60 production
-
build in circuit breaker
CONDITION: Just serviced. New cord. Metal plate has significant rubbing and scratches from use. The bakelite case looks good, but does have a small crack, pictured. With a COPY of the original instructions.
