Each year, MTH offered special packages to dealers of unique items only available in these Dealer Appreciation Packages. This is the good looking Christmas car in the Premier line was one such car--a Christmas offering in the DAP.
MTH is the only toy train manufacturer to put the actual reason for the season on many of their cars. This is one such example.
This 2005 offering is not one you see for sale all that often. These DAP cars are uncataloged and much scracer than the catalogued items.
Of course, MTH cars are fully compatible with Lionel, Atlas O, K-Line, Marx, Williams, and other three rail O gauge cars. This one is in the Premier Line. These more true O scale 1/48 three rail cars are great quality and look great running with your Atlas O, Standard O Lionel, Scale K-Line and more. Of course, you can run them with your traditional cars as well.
