Here is a super MTH Rail King Semi-Scale scale release from way back in 2000--that's right, 26 years ago!
THIS one is PLATED with 18K Gold as one of MTH's Millennium Specials in 2000. The thing I have always liked about this set is that it pays homage to the GREAT INNOVATORS of toy trains and model railroading such as Lionel Cowen, AC Gilbert, Louis Marx, Harry Ives...
This is an earlier MTH tinplate item. As such, it is not one you see for sale all that often.
It is a classic Pennsylvania 60' aluminum car set, but it has been plated in 18K gold and the cars honor toy train giants. Use it with any O gauge, and it will be right at home...or put it on the shelf and just sit there and admire the Millennium out of it.

CONDITION: C-7+ to C-8 overall. Has been out of the box and displayed. If run, has not been much! TO BE VERY PICKY, HARD TO SEE: Railway baggage has rubs from factory plastic wrap; Cowen has scratches on the roof, rubs from factory plastic; Gilbert has a few rubs and scratches from use; Ives has rubs and a few scratches.
BOX is P-5 with soft flaps, large rubs and creases.
