One of the early factory painted aluminum sets!

You are looking at a really cool O gauge smooth 60' streamlined aluminum passenger car two car set, an add on for the four car set released in the same year. This Union Pacific streamlined passenger set was in the 1996 Fall/Winter catalog. This was one of the first passenger sets MTH issued.
In those early days, MTH issued some of these factory painted aluminum passenger sets that were closer to the classic Lionel or Williams aluminum cars (at 15" and capable of 31" curves) than the later ABS plastic cars (18" and 42" curves). This series was numbered between 6001 and 6023.
