One of the early plated aluminum sets!
You are looking at a really cool O gauge smooth 70' streamlined aluminum passenger car set. This Atlantic Coast Line streamlined passenger set was in the 1996 Spring Premier catalog. This was one of the first passenger sets MTH issued.
In those early days, MTH issued 12 of these factory painted or PLATED aluminum passenger sets that were closer to the classic Lionel or Williams aluminum cars than the later ABS plastic cars.
SPECIAL FUN FACT: Even though the ends of the box state that these are 15" cars they are actually 18" cars!

Each car is 18" long
CONDITION: C-7 used, excellent. Cars look good. When you look up close, cars have some light oxidation wear in the plating in places from handling. Will leave the polishing to you. From normal distance, not notceable. Box is P-6 with some creases on the front and back sides and rubs. Pictures are part of the description.
