Here is a very hard to find item--the wood base version of the 928 log flat! And look at how clean this one is!
You are looking at an American Flyer 928 WOOD BASE Chicago Northwestern Railway flat car. The 928 is in complete condition with the log load and the original contour shaped straps. The paint patina is still good, but it HAS flaked and rubbed significantly. Still, one of the more desirable cars.
This is the version with the larger lettering. The other version had lettering similar in size to the metal flat version of the 928.

CONDITION: C-6. Complete. The paint shows wear, rubbing, and flaking as you can see. The flaking interrupts the lettering pretty significantly on one side. Load, couplers, trucks, all present and nice. The metal straps are clean--no rust.
