Here is a PART for your classic steam engine from 1933-1939. This metal boiler shell for a steam engine fits the 385E and the 1835E. It is possible it fits others, but these are the ones I know it fits. These engines are 2-4-2 STANDARD GAUGE engines.
THIS one is an interesting variation of the 385E: Dark gunmetal gray (versus gray) AND copper AND silver piping (versus ONE OR THE OTHER).
This one has significant scratches, oxidation and rust and some paint wear and chips. However, I do believe it is original.
THIS unit is an original Lionel shell from the 1930s. NOTE THAT YOU ARE GETTING MORE THAN A MERE SHELL: Check out some of the EXTRAS still on it--piping,whistle, bell, Lionel plaque on cab sides, nickel handrail, stanchions...THESE PARTS ADD UP!!
We have a other standard gauge items and parts in our other listings right now, and more coming over the next few weeks. Buy more and save on combined shipping WHEN POSSIBLE.
CONDITION: C-4. This one is original. Has oxidation and surface rust. There are some scratches and paint rubs all over, all pictured. Has COPPER piping and trim, the more desirable version of this engine, AND SILVER trim as well. Has the Lionel Lines logo plate under the cab window. Has rust on the cab roof and underneath.
