SO COOL! Perfect for America 250!
You are looking at a very cool item put out by Pride Lines in O GAUGE in limited quantity for the Train Collectors Association in 1989. This item was a special run specifically for the 35th Annual Train Collectors Association National Convention in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania that year.
This is a clever patriotic remake of the #1100 Disney Mickey and Minnie Handcar from 1935-37. This one reimagines the #1100 with a patriotic flair: it makes Mickey into a Patriot and Minnie into Betsy Ross and adds a shiny metallic handcar body with an American Flag. They even had a couple of clever names for the convention and this car: "It's Valley Forge" and "Valley Forge By George".
And THIS ONE comes with the original box and ALL the Pride Lines paper! Check out the instruction sheet. There is even a handful of color brochures of other Pride Lines releases which really comes in handy since there is no definitive source for Pride Lines items.
Pro tip: Runs best around 6-8 volts where the bell is synced perfect with the motion of the handcar.

THIS unit was made by Pride Lines in low numbers in 1989. Make sure you have yours!
CONDITION: C-7 looks real nice. Tested and running, bell ringing. Pick up on bottom shows some light track time. Some very light wear to the chrome if you look super close; a few runs; very very light age related discoloration in a few places. Display base is in great shape.
BOX is P-6 with some light wear and discoloration, very small tear on top corner, some rubs on label. With all the paperwork including instructions and color brochures on the other Pride Lines items.
